SUMMER SCHOOL

TIME FOR KIDS PARADE AT BOROUGH PARADE


Borough Parade’s free workshops for children, Kids Parade Summer School, will launch on Wednesday 1st August. The workshops will take place every Wednesday until 22nd August.

The first week will see kids planting hanging baskets which they will be able to take home with them afterwards. Other workshops will include arts and crafts where children will be able to design mugs, make windchimes and magnets. The final event, Creative Writing will be hosted by Waterstone’s. There will also be goodie bags for all who attend and a fantastic competition to win a Summer Hamper. Click here to print off an Entry Form to enter the Summer Hamper competition.

During each workshop, children will be asked to draw a self portrait which will be displayed on bunting throughout the centre on Saturday 25th August. Street entertainment including face painters, jugglers and much will be on hand to entertain shoppers from 11am to 4pm.

The workshops are open to children aged between 5 and 11 years and will need to be booked in advance. The booking line opens on Monday 2nd July at 10am – places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Click here to view the Summer School Poster
